Every 6 months our squadron has a squadron open day to invite people from the local community to our squadron to see what we get up to. This is mainly to aid the squadron in recruiting new cadets. The Mayor and Wing Commander usually attend this event
Displays are setup inside showing briefly what we do at cadets, these displays usually are:
• First Aid
• Modeling
• Field Craft
• Shooting
• Canoeing
The cadets also have an inter flight drill competition, red and green flight conduct a small drill display as part of a competition, the winning flight is given a trophey as an award. |
