On a Thursday night cadets are to take parts in projects. A cadet is expected to spend 25 hours on their selected project during their exam period.
At 2050 we have several projects available to take part in, these range from:
• Go Kart maintence
Cadets work on a pedal powered go-kart and are taught how to build and fully maintain the GoKart.
• Modelling
2050 are privelaged to have two great CI's that are excellent modelers that donate their time and patience to teach cadets the skills needed to build models and dioramas. Our squadron has a huge selection of aircraft and diorama's on display in our modeling room.

• Website development team
This project consists of a small team that are dedicated to updating the website and the extranet.

• Computing team
We are fortunate enough to have a IT specialist on squadron as one of our officers, he has helped to build our squadron network of computers, there are several other cadets who also help out on the network. Cadets can also have the opportunity to learn how to build computers and upgrade them.

• First Aid
In this project, cadets learn how to competently perform first aid to obtain the skills to potentially save someones life. As part of the training Syllabus cadets are now required to do 'Heart Start'
• Knitting club
Knitting club is run by AWO Walton on wednesday nights. Cadets can do anything from learning to sew, knit, build things out of clay, to drawing and painting.
