ATC

The following Information will be the format of the ATC.

Squadron
There are two types of Squadrons,
1) Squadron
A Squadron is made up of at least 30 cadets. There are 27 squadrons in our wing (Cumbria and North Lancs Wing). Each Squadron has a Commissioned officer incharge (usually found to be a Flight Lieutenant)Each squadron has a committee (incharge of finances and squadron moral) and a Padre for moral guidance.
2) Detached Flight
A DF is made up of less than 30 cadets, and is attached to another squadron. A DF doesnt have a committee as it uses the attached squadron's committee for finances, and the squadrons Padre. The OC doesnt have to be commissioned, so is often found to be an AWO. Our Wing currently has 1 DF.

Wing

There are 6 wings in our region (North Region) Each wing has to support 20-30 squadrons. Each wing has a Wing Commander incharge of the wing. Wings like squadrons have a commitee and a padre Our.Wing Headquarters is Weeton Barracks. The wings in our region are:
Cumbria & North Lancashire Wing
South & West Yorkshire Wing
East Lancashire Wing
Durham & Northumberland Wing
Central & East Yorkshire Wing
East Cheshire & South Manchester Wing

Region
There are 6 regions in the Corps each Region has a committee and a padre. Our Squadron is in North Region, thier headquaters is based at RAF Linton On Ouse

Wales and West
London and South East Region
